Endorsement Areas

The Tuloso Midway ISD Course Catalog was created with Parents and Students in mind to communicate all the opportunities Tuloso Midway ISD students have to choose from. To use the CTE Course Catalog, you can start your search with the Endorsements Areas to determine which Career Clusters interest you. or by choosing a specific Program of Study if you know what you are interested in.

An Endorsement consist of a related series of courses that are grouped together by interest or skill set.  They provide students with in-depth knowledge of a subject area. Within each endorsement area are Career Clusters which help students investigate careers and design their courses of study to advance their career goals.

Career Cluster is a grouping of occupations and broad industries based on commonalities. Within each career cluster, there are multiple programs of study that represent a common set of skills and knowledge, both academic and technical, necessary to pursue a full range of career opportunities within that pathway – ranging from entry level to management, including technical and professional career specialties.

Programs of Study are course sequences that prepare students with the knowledge and skills necessary for success in their chosen career. These sequences embed relevant, real world experiences and culminate in a postsecondary credential. Based on the skills sets taught, all CTE courses are aligned with one or more career clusters and programs of study, see link below to view all Programs of Study offered at TMISD.
