Tuloso-Midway ISD values open communication and encourages concerns to be resolved at the lowest possible level whenever appropriate. In many cases, questions or concerns can be resolved informally by speaking directly with the staff member involved, the campus principal, department supervisor, or appropriate administrator.
If a concern cannot be resolved informally, a formal complaint or grievance may be filed under the applicable Board policy. Texas Education Code Chapter 26A requires school districts to make grievance procedures, forms, and electronic filing information available on the district website and in the student handbook.

Before filing a formal grievance, individuals are encouraged to first attempt to resolve the concern informally by contacting the appropriate staff member, campus administrator, department supervisor, or district administrator.

If the matter is not resolved informally, a Level One complaint or grievance may be filed using the appropriate form below:
Employee Complaints/Grievances
For complaints filed by district employees.

Completed forms may be submitted electronically using the form links provided on this page or submitted to the appropriate campus or department administrator.

If the individual is not satisfied with the Level One response, a Level Two appeal may be filed in accordance with the timelines and procedures outlined in the applicable Board policy.

If the individual is not satisfied with the Level Two response, a Level Three appeal may be filed with the Board of Trustees in accordance with the applicable Board policy.
